About Online / Digital Transcription
Transcription is the term used to describe the conversion of an audio
dictation (recording) into a typed & formatted document. The dictation
can be performed indifferent ways using different devices. While the
process of delivering the dictation to us differs depending on the device
/ format used by you to record th e original dictation, the end result
is always the same - a high quality, proof read document in the format
you require delivered back to you inan electronic format. I.e Word (.doc),
Acrobat (.pdf)
What dictation (recording) devices can I use?
There are 3 general categories of recoding device that can be used successfully.
Both the DVR's & Software based systems produce digital sound files
that can be transferred to Online Transcription Services via the internet
while the traditional cassette based recorders use a magnetic tape which
needs to be physically transported (via courier or DX for example) to
our office before it can be transcribed.
What is the turnaround time?
The standard turnaround time is 24hrs.

Jobs can be submitted / lodged 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week from any location with internet access.

Completed document available 24 hrs from submission time.

14 day invoices are issued at the start of each month. This provides effective terms of 14 - 45 days.

Our invoices provide detailed information on each job / transcription performed, grouped by Author (if applicable).

Preferred payment method is Direct Deposit or Credit Card. Cheques are accepted by prior arrangement.
